An Unusual Day As A Mortgage Broker
So what happened today?
Well, I received a comment on my mortgage website, and it was negative in nature about my article about trusting your banker. I think it was great as they just told me every argument they make to a client when they have a client attempt to defect to a mortgage broker solution. I appreciated receiving this and it gives me fodder for another article to respond to it publicly in the future.
Then later on in the day I received a request from a bank branch of the same bank asking me to remove their fax numbers from my fax list immediately. I found this really unusual considering I do not do blast faxing, so I called up the banker and asked her what she received. I was concerned that someone was blast faxing my information without my authorization and she said she would fax me a copy of what she had. I had also asked her what fax number it came from (which should be easy to tell since when you receive a fax it imprints the source number on the top of each page.) but she didn’t know the number it came from. So she faxes me a copy of what she received, and it is a printout of my website. She also writes on the cover page “P.S. we do trust our bankers :-)” on it.
